Gender Equity Report

The Office of the Vice-President and Provost announces the release of the report on faculty gender diversity, Gender Equity and Pathways to Leadership: Women in the Tenure Stream at the University of Toronto (2004-05 and 2014-15). The new report assesses the state of gender equity at the University of Toronto by looking at the representation of women throughout the key stages of their career as faculty members and as academic administrators. Some data on clinical faculty are included in the report where such data are available.

This is the first in a series of future annual reports that will examine faculty diversity at the University of Toronto. In addition to gender equity, future reports will also include analysis of other diversity characteristics as data from the new U of T Employment Equity Survey become available.
